.SE, the Sweden top-level domain, is one you've asked for over the years, and we're excited to deliver it to you. .AI is being used by companies developing Artificial Intellegence and Machine Learning technology to stand out from the competition. Both of these TLDs have rules that are a little different from standard TLDs, so I'd like to point out some of their unique requirements.
.SE is available to people and companies inside and outside of Sweden. For individuals or companies located in Sweden, a valid Swedish personal or organizational number is required. For individuals and companies outside of Sweden you'll need to provide some sort of government ID number, such as a passport number, or your business tax ID. European companies outside of Sweden must also provide their VAT ID.
.SE domains may be registered for periods from 1 to 5 years. When you transfer a .SE domain, it's not extended, and you won't be charged. If you'd like to renew after transferring your .SE domain, you'll have to handle that renewal as a separate action. Whenever you change the owner of a .SE domain name, you'll be required to fax a declaration for the name change. More information on this is available at the time you request the name change. Registrant information is hidden in whois by default. You may choose to disclose this information at registration time.
.AI domains may only be registered for 2 years. They may be renewed for 2, 4, 6 or 8 years. When you transfer a .AI domain, you're charged a $110 transfer fee, but the domain will not be extended. If you'd like to renew after transferring your .AI domain, you'll need to handle that renewal as a seperate action.
Finally, .SE domains are available for a registration fee of $25/year (renewals are also $25/year). .AI domains are available for a registration fee of $80/year with a minimum registration period of 2 years. .AI renewals are also $80/year with a minimum renewal period of 2 years, and .AI transfers are $110 with no renewal included.

I break things so Simone continues to have plenty to do. I occasionally have useful ideas, like building a domain and DNS provider that doesn't suck.
Configure DNSimple as your secondary DNS provider to improve your domain's availability and redundancy with AXFR zone transfers.
