Celebrate 10 Years with a Free DNSimple T-Shirt

It's time for another update on our 10 year anniversary celebration! Let's talk a little about what we've been up to and what's coming next.

For our first campaign at the start of 2020, we partnered with Let's Encrypt™, because they play a huge part in increasing privacy and championing encryption on the Internet. This month, we're proud to announce we'll be presenting them with a $5000 check to help further their work. If you'd like to read more about Let's Encrypt and our campaign goals, take a look at this post.

We want to give a huge thanks to all of you for helping us get one step closer to our goal of helping make the Internet a better place.

What's next?

To keep the celebration going, we're putting together a party bundle with a free, limited-edition t-shirt and two months off any new yearly subscription. Add it to the 30-day trial, and that's three months free.

But this isn't just any t-shirt – we wanted to do something special. A couple years ago, Seb, one of our designers, created a comic to help people better understand DNS: How DNS works. Then came the True Story of Trusty, for a bit more backstory on everyone's favorite server. Those were so well received, he created a third comic: How HTTPS Works to explain why HTTPS is critical for security on the web. The comics bring together a cast of characters to illustrate the inner workings of DNS and HTTPS in fun, accessible ways. If you haven't read them yet, we highly recommend checking them out, and sharing them with anyone who wants to learn more about HTTPS and DNS.

In honor of our anniversary, and because we think they're pretty cool, we created our limited-edition shirts around the charming characters from our comics. We love how these shirts turned out, and we think you will too. Sign up today to start your 30-day free trial, and celebrate with us in style.

Why choose DNSimple?

We've had people ask why they should pay for a DNSimple subscription when there are free DNS hosting alternatives out there. Let's talk about some of the benefits of a DNSimple subscription, and why you should make the switch.

DNSimple's goal is right in our name: we make DNS management as simple as possible. Our streamlined interface is easy to use, and we offer first-class, expert-level support when you need it. Our API simplifies domain management automation, so you can update DNS records, request SSL certificates, and transfer or register new domains from your custom scripts. And our one-click services make it easier than ever to connect to your favorite productivity suite, web hosting, blog, e-commerce, etc. We're even vendor neutral, which means we won't lock you in, or require that you move any services to us. With DNSimple, you can keep your business possibilities open.

Security is also one of our top priorities. We offer multi-layer DDoS defense, and SSL certificates with DNS-based domain validation, auto-renewal, and Wildcard support. Professional plans and higher include 2FA (two-factor authentication) enforcement and 99% SLA. With our expert-level security, you know your domains are in good hands.

From quick, expert support, to excellent security standards, we work every day to improve DNS management. DNSimple makes it easier and faster to seamlessly connect your domains to the internet.

In honor of our 10th anniversary, sign up for any yearly plan, and we'll send you a free limited-edition t-shirt so you can join in on the celebration! All yearly subscriptions include our 30-day trial, plus a discount of two months off - that's three months, totally free.

I break things so Simone continues to have plenty to do. I occasionally have useful ideas, like building a domain and DNS provider that doesn't suck.
