Over the past few months, we've made some meaningful improvements to your DNSimple experience. Whether you're managing a few client accounts or you're responsible for domains across multiple organizations, you'll now find it faster, easier, and more intuitive to move between them and locate invoices for your clients.
DNSimple customers across all plans will benefit from smoother navigation and better usability throughout the app. Our Enterprise plan customers and resellers can take advantage of improved multi-account management and invoice filtering.
Let's talk more about what we improved and what you can expect to see on your DNSimple dashboard.
Cleaner, more accessible account switching
We tackled this update as part of our effort to improve navigation and accessibility across DNSimple. Many of our customers manage multiple accounts, and the old interface made that increasingly cumbersome — especially the persistent vertical scrollbar in the navigation bar.
This change aligns our navigation patterns with common industry standards, creating a more consistent, intuitive user experience. It's all about giving you smoother access, better performance, and a simple interface.
Account switching is now faster and more user-friendly, with no more scrollbars getting in your way.
We've also updated the navigation bar from a gradient to a solid blue background, which is not just a style choice, but a purposeful accessibility improvement. The higher contrast makes text easier to read for all customers, including anyone with visual impairments.
Multi-account management
The new multi-account management card contains all the most important information for all of your contracts. It provides a comprehensive overview of your multi-account setup that includes the name associated with the specific account and contact information for your DNSimple Account Manager.
Enterprise customers can manage multiple, separate DNSimple accounts under a single contract. This provides:
- Enhanced control and organization when you have multiple entities requiring independent domain and DNS management
- Improved account security
- Simplified billing
- A centralized view of all associated accounts upon login
Consolidating key account data, streamlining communication, and providing a unified interface for managing multiple contracts provides Enterprise and Reseller customers with more scalable, secure, and organized domain and DNS management.
Invoice filtering
Invoice management is now faster and more efficient than ever with invoice search and filtering for Enterprise customers. Quickly locate specific invoices within DNSimple using customizable search criteria and filters — significantly reducing time spent manually hunting through billing records.
Invoice filters provide quick, reliable access to invoices for auditing, reconciliation, and compliance. You can now save time by searching for invoices using the invoice number, type, state, description, and date.
You'll now experience a significant reduction in time spent searching for account details and locating invoices.
