How We Simplified Your Domain Management in 2021
DNSimple's vision is that everybody, regardless of technical skill-level, should be able to operate their domains and DNS with the best tools possible. We're constantly working towards that goal, and released multiple features and enhancements throughout 2021 to make managing your DNS even more effortless.
In this post, we're taking a look at some of our favorite projects from 2021, and how you can integrate these new features into your DNS management.
Domain Access Control
New API Clients
With our new client libraries, you can automate your domain management to save hours every month. DNSimple's API lets you update DNS records, request SSL certificates, and transfer or register new domains, right from your app.
Now you can manage your DNS like your other cloud services with DNSimple's Terraform provider. Ditch manual configurations and efficiently manage your DNS infrastructure. Save yourself time (and headaches) for every new domain you purchase, configure, and deploy. Learn more in our post.
We released DNSSEC beta in 2017, and in 2021 we were thrilled to announce general availability.
Sign your DNSimple zones, and add trust to your DNS resolution chain. DNSSEC improves your security by making it harder to perform attacks based on DNS forgery.
You can read more about the ways in which DNSimple supports DNSSEC and how to get started in our support article.
Our Heroku Connector is a simple way to connect domains managed with DNSimple to your Heroku app. It's the first of many connectors we plan to release. For a more in-depth look, check out our support article
